Puppy Imprinting and Socialization

Awwww...a new puppy!! Along with the excitement of having a new puppy, and the wonderful smell of puppy breath, comes the chewing, potty training, whining, digging, and mouthy behaviors.

Get your puppy off to the right start with Puppy Imprinting and Socialization!! Don't let these normal, and sometimes annoying, puppy behaviors cause you to lose your cool. Through operant conditioning, your puppy is well on its way to becoming the happy, well-adjusted, obedient dog that you've been longing for. Your puppy will quickly learn how to offer desired behaviors and you will learn how to stop nagging your puppy into doing what you want it to do!

The period between 8-17 weeks is the most crucial part of your puppy's learning stage. We incorporate our unique "learn how to learn" and "first order of learning" concept. This not only teaches your puppy about the world, but also teaches active thinking.

Puppy Imprinting and Socialization is also available through private lessons and in-home and in-kennel training. Contact us for details or call (512) 868-5810 or 1-800-979-K9HQ.

This 7 week Puppy Imprinting and Socialization Class shows you how to teach your puppy "how to learn" and be an active thinker. Through imprinting, your puppy will have a solid foundation for future obedience work (sit, down, place, come). We'll also cover topics such as crate training and housebreaking, what to do when your puppy displays those annoying puppy behaviors, how to appropriately socialize your puppy, introduction to the agility equipment, and tolerating grooming, such as the all-time favorite...nail clipping!!
Puppies must be at least 8 weeks old to attend classes and be current on all age appropriate vaccinations, including Bordatella (kennel cough).
Contact a trainer for next available class date.
